Meet The Owner

Jason Lockett Sr,

Certified Financial Planner… Howard University (candidate)

My sole purpose is to educate and subsequently elevate any and everyone I’ll have the privilege of meeting. Mastering personal finance is one of the surest ways to financial freedom. The tools that are needed to flourish as an adult aren’t provided in grade, secondary, and even collegiate schools. Thus, the pattern of misinformed financial decisions will continue to cycle through our communities. Until now… I’ve started this company called “The Breadwinners.” We’re a multifaceted resource group aiding in the financial development of those within our communities. 

I’ve been assisting people with credit repair and personal finance for 11 years. I was my very 1st client when I graduated from college in 2010 (NDC). I landed my 1st entry-level role and wanted to get rid of my beloved Olds Alero. After an eventful trip to a local dealership, I quickly realized that I couldn’t outrun my poor financial decisions. I’ve made a terrible call and took on a loan with an unattractive rate of 24.99%. I’ve vowed to not succumb to these deals (again) as it’s a recipe for a financial disaster. As the head of my home, I’ve taken on the responsibility to lead my family. In order to do that, I had to correct my personal finance habits and credit.  

My ultimate goal is simple… To provide the right financial tools so you’ll make smart decisions with your money.
